Of all the creatures to walk our planet, there are few whose walking on our planet is as enigmatic a process as that of the birds. In serious times, serious researchers Jamie and Nick present a multimedia musing on the ultimate question: can birds walk backwards?

The earthbound maneuverability of birds is something we’ve all questioned at some point in our lives – why can birds walk when they have the option of flying? What is their problem? Are all birds just arrogant? Probably.
With so many questions hanging over mankind like angry bats (fun fact: not a bird), the worldly explornithologist Digby C. Poorwill sought to provide answers, founding the Digby “Common” Poorwill Institute for the Study of Ornithological Maneuverability. After years of tireless investigation, Digby’s chief researchers Jamie Seyfang and Nick Milde are finally prepared to present the institute’s findings on all things avian. With their show compiling a mesmerizing collection of never-before-seen documentaries, science facts and informative live folk covers of popular songs, what better way is there to say "Hey! Let's put down our sports equipment and care about some science!" than by coming along? If you like birds, or even if you hate them, let the Diggers lay some eggs in your head; after all, it’s time everybody was moving forwards on birds moving backwards.
