Overture is a festival of songs and monologues and that pay tribute to outsider erspectives and stories from the edge. The monologues, contributed by street writers, vamps, tramps and geniuses, explore songs of the unseen giving voice to strange predicaments and human struggles. While the stories bear witness a vicious cycle of social confusion and the sense of been disconnected, they also celebrate unique strengths that speak of survival and transcendence. The performance is accompanied by mood enhancing sound by live musicians. Overture is an acoustic lyrical experience that promises to engage both the head and the heart in a deepening of experience.
