S.o.V. formed in Adelaide in 2006 with the idea of blending instruments from diverse genres and origins with the melodic and mesmerising Ukrainian Bandura. The result is a soundscape of global components, perhaps best categorised as ?east meets everything else?. A re-interpretation of traditional Ukrainian folk music is part of S.o.V.'s focus, along with original material incorporating contemporary instrumentation, global beats and grooves from exotic organic instruments. Truly a world music experience!
