Meet Luke Escombe: singer, songwriter, pimp. He spent years trying to be a family-friendly acoustic folk artiste. The charade nearly killed him. Armed with an acoustic guitar, a $5 Casio keyboard and a 70’s pornstar moustache, he keeps it real on subjects ranging from chronic illness and jihad to masturbation and golden retrievers. Fresh from playing to packed houses at the Edinburgh and Sydney Fringes, CHRONIC is music comedy at its most tripped out and addictive.
