The Brisbane Racing Facebook Friends Party will be the social event for Brisbane this September.

Ideally situated on the public lawn at Doomben Racecourse, the Facebook Friends Party will be open to the public from 10:30am to 5pm to take in the fun, social atmosphere on race day. It is perfectly situated right on the track fence at the 400 metre mark. Plus it's the perfect kickstart for Brisbane's much anticipated Valley Fiesta!

The Facebook Friends Party enclosure will offer plenty for groups of friends to enjoy their day at the races. An expansive marquee situated in the centre of the enclosure will have plenty of high bar and lounge seating whilst the rest of the enclosure will feature garden seating and courtyard umbrellas. The Yellowglen Bar and Carlton Dry Bar will offer a range of wines and beers whilst food stations will be serving delicious menu items including pad thai, sushi and cute little cupcakes.

Guests will be able to have their photo taken with their friends and select one of three backdrops including the Yellowglen red carpet, a jockey or a race day setting then tag themselves instantly on Facebook via our official Brisbane Racing Club Facebook Page. Sinfidelity, a collaboration of DJs with sax, percussion, guitar, trumpet & singers will play an eclectic blend of groove/ lounge tunes and soulful funky house beats. And, in keeping with the social networking theme of Facebook, racegoers will be able to join in speed dating sessions to meet new friends!
