The Popular Racecourse Road Carnival Back!
SUNDAY 3rd JUNE 9am – 4pm

The Racecourse Road Carnival was one of the first major festivals in Brisbane, with
a history dating back to 1993.

The Carnival is a celebration of family and community, the new festival is in
Queensland Week and will highlight the fascinating history of the lovely old suburbs
of Ascot and Hamilton.

The festival is also timed to coincide with the Brisbane Racing Carnival which runs
from May to June. Historic Eagle Farm Racecourse will be open to the public on the day
with its new Eagle Farm Fresh Food Markets.

What Can You Expect?

A fun filled day for all the family
A stage with top entertainment, bands, swing dancing and comedy
Street entertainers to put a smile on your face
150 top quality stalls, selling local craft, fashion, gourmet food
Children’s special entertainment area, with face painters, balloon twisting,
carnival rides and much more…
Racecourse Road cafes and bars will be open all day
Racecourse Road boutiques will have amazing festival specials

The top end of Racecourse Road will be closed to traffic from Windermere Road
to Lancaster Road and The Racecourse Road Carnival will flow into Eagle Farm
Racetrack.

Parking and Transport – Eagle Farm Members car park – donation to Rotary,
CityCat ferries to Bretts Wharf, buses and parking in adjoining streets.
