WORLD PREMIRE

Roll Up, Roll Up!

Join us, one and all, as we follow young Tamino on his journey to love and enlightenment, in Mozarts timeless masterpiece. With Papageno at his side to overcome the dark powers of the Queen of Night, Taminos quest for truth, beauty and the girl of his dreams unfolds to the magic of Mozarts score.

This new production by Opera Queensland floats in time and speaks of make-believe and lives lived outside the ordinary. Scheming divas, an innocent clown, a ringmaster and a strongman come together to tell this tale of the supernatural all under a 1930s big top.

An enchanting cast featuring Sarah Crane as Pamina and Christopher Saunders as Tamino will take you on this inspirational adventure, where will and courage are tested at every turn.

With the Opera Queensland Ensemble and The Queensland Orchestra.
