"Lets Get Minimal" started as a group of like minded DJ / Friends from across the country and overseas who eventually converged and decided to form in Brisbane........ After some very succesful parties it was obvious that a bigger space was needed to allow for the ever growing following.

Whats this all about??? Its about that underground sound.......... and ofcourse the quality friendly crew and wicked nights that comes with it. All members have a unique interpertation and style and have a great understanding and passion for dance music. To here some of the best examples in sweetass sounds simply come along to our next gig and see what all the fuss is about!!!!!!!!!!!

Robohan is a true renegade in the sound of minimal. With a passion for travelling the world and music exploration his DJing style is instantly recognizable and reflects this. Playing anything from South American to European to some other abstract part of the world minimal!?! His collection is well cultured and truly inspiring. Lee Majors (aka Tickle) recognized by most as Byron’s first underground club DJ. Playing since 1997 he was a resident DJ at the legendary Carpark nightclub playing weekly gigs including 5 hour sets on Saturdays. DJ Tickle (known then) was also a household name at the big parties and festivals such as Splendour in the grass, and the infamous beach and biker parties. Later moving to Sydney saw him at highly regarded nights such as 'Toasted', 'B*E*E*F' and 'Undercurrents' to name but a few. Lee Majors is known for his twisted tech and driving minimal sets.

Also on the DJ list we are excited to introduce some of the best in Brisbane’s new wave of DJ talents, MR Killen, Raskarl and Bowman, Ruskarl and bowman have an impeccable taste in music and will be sure to make you shake it well n proper. Raskarl and Bowman are both originally residents of New Zealand. These boys know how to get the party pumping!!

MR Killen showcases the future of DJing mediums incorporating laptop and midi devices, be sure not to miss this guy! Expect totally ‘up for it’ warm pumping minimal gear when you see him!
