Having pioneered the electro-punk and indie dance movement, making rapturous appearances at festivals such as Parklife, Coachella and venues worldwide, the German electro duo otherwise known as Digitalism will be throwing down their distorted baselines and thumping rhythms at a club near you in May. Beni’s been that way since the beginning. The peaceful passage sets the stage for his Album's [House of Beni] delicate denouement—the icy keys, pressure-cooked percussion, and vaporous Via Tania vocals of “Zig Zag.” Like the rest of the record, it’s a perfect example of what happens when music is a genuine meeting of the minds, rather than an excuse to drop names and appeal to as many crossover audiences as possible
