One of my favourite quotes has always been "Be the change you wish to see in the world" (Gandhi).
I come from an incredibly special family and my parents have always brought me and my sis up to think about the world we live in, what impact we have on it, and also to think about others. Since we were little girls, mum and dad have drawn our attention to other people in the world who are not as fortunate as us, they have taught us how a little love and compassion can go a long way in changing peoples lives.
Now I am a "grown up" I am able to help support people financially and am a supporter of Amnesty International. When I got my regular email update about all the brilliant work they do, this opportunity came up.
So......next year, I'm participating in the challenge of a lifetime and have committed to climb Kilimanjaro in July 2012!

In doing so, I'm going to be raising much needed funds forAmnesty, to assist them in their stance against those facing injustice and abuse. Please help me raise vital funds to hold warlords and dictators accountable, free prisoners of conscience, promote respect for Indigenous peoples and boldly, ambitiously defend human rights in every corner of the world.
I am going to make more of an effort and "Be the Change I wish to see" for the next 8 months.
I'm going to raise money for Amnesty so that they can better support human rights around the world
I'm going to get fit, and give thanks that I am healthy and able to take part in such a challenge
I'm going to truly challenge myself, and will feel so proud that I will be able to acheive a better situation for Amnesty, Human Rights, my fitness and the belief in myself that I can do this !!
If you are able to support in any way, that would be super ! You'll be hleping fund the work Amnesty does around the world for human rights, as well as helping me acheive this personal challenge !
This will be my main fundraising page, and I will update all other donations on here, to hopefully watch the target get closer to 10 000.
