Cine Retro Classic Cinema presents a free screening of the Buster Keaton Classic, The General at the Old Museum Building Concert Hall September 23 at 10am. This is being presented with the support of the Brisbane City Council Ward community and Parks fund.
There will be a Devonshire Tea at intermission with a gold coin donation.

Preceding the feature will be a screening of Charles Chauvels first Queensland Feature film "The Moth of Moonbi" starring Brisbane's Doris Ashwin and Tom (Marsden) Hassall.
Only aprox 30 minutes remains of this classic feature, filmed on location at Spicers Gap and in Brisbane, however the narrative is still very clear.

For your complete Silent Movie experience, Ron West, from the Majestic Theatre, Pomona, will accompany the film on the Old Museum grand Pipe Organ.
This will be an experience in theatre that is surely not to be missed.
