Oh the chocolate steamed pudding-I took it away no problem-to die for! The wait staff were all friendly, totally helpful in fact when I asked about a sauce, she not only went & found out about it, but the chef gave me a sample to taste & it was yum! My husband's 2 brothers are chefs & have owned resturants so we love good food & my husband is fussy & we definately were not disappointed in anyway. In fact they have given us a discount card of 25%. We had an entertainment voucher & they honoured that & we gave a good tip too! Can't wait to go back !!!! …

Hi guys, I have lived in the area for several years now and make frequent use of the 2-4-1 Tuesday meal deal, so my experience of the Indus (and hence this review) is in this context. I have eaten there at least 20 times and have never witnessed any of the ranting and raving mentioned in other reviews. I agree that the food varies a bit from visit to visit, but overall it's well presented, fresh, and very tasty. The Lamb Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala are the best dishes on the menu (and I've pretty much had them all). My wife and I usually order a curry each and a naan to share, and the bill comes to about $22 total - that's a pretty cheap night out if you ask me... We have been happy enough with the place to take many friends and family there over the last few years, and even had a mini-reception there after returning from getting married overseas. We've also tried the other restaurants (Indian and otherwise) in the area, and keep coming back to the Indus for it's good value, reliability, and tasty menu. As an alternative, the Green Mango (Thai restaurant) is similarly good, reliable, and inexpensive - it's not far from the Indus on MacGregor Tce, Bardon. …

I went there after a friend told me about this great new restaurant. She said it was great and a notch above the others in the Valley so I thought I'd give it a try. Calling this restaurant great is an understatment, it was fantastic! The only little downer was that it wasn't licenced but everything else was perfect. Table cloths on the tables, great service and amazing food. The owner is very much hands on and came out to serve us and ask how our meals were, which I thought was a nice touch. What was most impressive was that the entrees came out as entrees, and mains came out after we had finished out entrees. I can't think of any other chinese restuarant that does that! …
