Two of Australias most loved and successful female recording artists Christine Anu & Deni Hines join forces in Takin it to the Streets for this exclusive Gala Cabaret Event. Both Christine and Deni are without a doubt considered two of Australias foremost entertainers. From hit singles and albums, to lead roles in musicals and television, both ladies have grown up in front of audiences from enthusiastic young performers to mature, sophisticated all round entertainers.

The audience will be treated to an evening of classic hits, favourite songs and special duets, whilst sitting on the Playhouse stage transformed into a gorgeous ballroom. An exclusive Playhouse experience cabaret style!

Ive always been a fan of Christines, kind of like a kindred sister in some ways and shes got a wicked sense of humour. She is loads of fun! We are pretty spontaneous gals so each show is always a little unpredictable in a good way, Deni

Deni and I have followed each others careers and our paths are very similar. We record albums, do musical theatre, TV, etc, plus we keep bumping into each other, so it made sense for us to hit the road together. Christine

Fog effects will be used in this performance. The Playhouse Stage is transformed into a gorgeous ballroom, 'The Crystal Room', for the Cabaret Festival opening gala event. Seating is at tables of 4 or 10.
