Monsieur Camembert famous blue cheese - the Leonard Cohen Show

Fresh from headlining the prestigious International Leonard Cohen Festival in Canada the three-time ARIA award winning Monsieur Camembert is delighted to present Famous Blue Cheese 'The Leonard Cohen Show' based on the music and poetry of the iconoclastic Canadian songwriter.

Drawing on Cohen material that spans 35 years, Monsieur Camemberts entirely unique interpretations traverse styles including hot swing, cabaret, gypsy, latin and jazz. Monsieur Camembert will be joined by special guest singers Abby Dobson and Ngaiire Joseph .

The vast dynamic range these musicians employ just goes to show why this band is so consistently captivating...I fi nd no cause for hesitation before declaring that Monsieur Camembert is probably the most entertaining band in the universe. Ever. Drum Media

Supported by: EMMA DEAN

Most artists are content to stick with the formula theyre known for, changing as much or as little as they think they can get away with. But Emma Dean isnt most artists. In fact, on her debut album Real Life Computer Game the Brisbane-based performer has headed into new sonic territory and created a new genre Elastic Pop Theatre. Its bigger, bolder and more ambitious than anything shes ever done, showing her growth as a person and evolution as a musician and songwriter, while also staying true to her innovative take on modern music.

Emma Dean has given us a masterpiece; no doubt about it. Dean has a way with words. Its dynamic, epic and never sits still for a second. It flows magnificently, with a torrent of emotions and sounds that will leave you gasping for breath.. Kaz Mitchell Joy FM
