Brisbane City is the place to be this Easter, with a range of events to get you into the Easter spirit and fill the school holidays.

The fun begins on March 27 with FREE fun at the Queen Street Mall Stage as Alice in Wonderland is brought to life in the Easter Wonderland & Mad Hatter's Hat Competition. There will be hat-making workshops brought to you by Queensland Art Gallery’s Hats:An Anthology By Stephen Jones Exhibition, and a special magic show featuring a real bunny! Then the kids can pop on their newly-created Easter hats and join in the Mad Hatter’s Hat Competition, with fantastic prizes on offer including Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND movie prize packs, Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones kids packs and passes to the My Little Hilton Easter Cooking Class. The fun continues on Sunday 28 with another magic show and egg decorating workshops.

Bistro Allure at The Sebel and Citigate King George Square will kick off the Easter season on March 29 with their Easter Chocolate Buffet featuring a range of delicious and decadent chocolate treats including tarts, mousse, pudding, cake and even a chocolate fountain.

Hilton Brisbane is hosting a range of events for the whole family including the My Little Hilton Easter Cooking Class on April 3 and special buffet menus for Easter Weekend at Atrium Restaurant PLUS don't miss the launch of the Hilton Brisbane Masterclass on 29 March featuring celebrity chefs Matt Golinski and Alastair McLeod.

On April 8 treat the family with a day out in the city at the City Hall 80th Birthday and Open Day.

For some fun outdoors, why not take the kids to Roma Street Parkland and explore the world's largest urban subtropical garden. Or enjoy a shopping expedition at the Riverside Markets (on every Sunday) or at the Baby Nursery Expo @ David Jones on April 10.

Give the kids some culture experiences at the Little Masters: exhibition @ QUT Art Museum (on now until April 4), head to the Queen Stage Mall and watch the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Performances (on every Tuesday 10.30am - 11.30am), or get them involved in the Holiday Drama Workshops at Metro Arts Centre.
