Ever wondered what life is like in a refugee camp? International medical aid organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is pitching a REFUGEE CAMP IN YOUR CITY.
This free and interactive experience has travelled the world and touched audiences as far-flung as Tokyo, Zurich, Toronto and New York. Guided tours are available by MSF Australian field workers including doctors, nurses, logisticians and aid wokers, who will share their personal insight as they guide you through the recreated camp. You will be introduced to the living and health conditions of people who have had to flee their homes in countries such as Sudan, Bangladesh, Thailand and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Tours depart regularly throughout the day, lasting 45-60 minutes. Bookings are required for large groups or schools. For those on a tight schedule, less structured visits are welcome.
