Cinderella is without doubt one of the most popular fairy tales of all time and has had several incarnations the operatic repertoire, most recently Rossinis La Cenerentola . Jules Massenets operatic retelling of the tale remains remarkably true to the original. All the characters are here the evil stepmother, the ugly sisters, Prince Charming, the fairy Godmother. Gilded by one of operas most enchanting scores, you will be treated to a delightful evening of magical comedy and poignant drama. Directed by Anna Sweeney . Conducted by Michael Morgan
