It’s the news party revellers have been waiting for; Stereosonic 08 is going on the road with Brisbane firmly in its sight. After huge success last year, Melbourne’s festival of the year is set to infiltrate Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds on Saturday November 22 in a Queensland first.

Joining forces, Family nightclub, onelove, Hardware, inthemix, Channel [V] and Nova – the Stereosonic 08 juggernaut – officially announce Stereosonic, a showcase of the very best in new cutting-edge music and unrivalled state-of-the-art production.

Scouting the finest local and overseas talent, Stereosonic serves a festival of epic proportions, covering the entire spectrum of dance and electronic music, even spilling over into indie.

Featuring world dance music heavyweights Carl Cox, Booka Shade, PNAU, Faker and the act of 2008 The Crookers; plus TV Rock, Kaz James, DJ Funk, DJ Hell, Midnight Juggernauts, Japanese Popstars, Headman, Dave Nada, Infusion, Tommie Sunshine, Ajax, Andy Murphy, Chardy and over 30 more acts, Stereosonic is the festival those in the know have been raving about.

Always a pleaser, Australia’s newest adopted son, Carl Cox mixes crowd favourite with tomorrow’s future classics fresh from his Carl Cox and Friends night in Ibiza. Carl continues to top the worlds DJ Magazine Top 10 list for the 15th year in a row.

Fresh from their mind blowing live show, the undisputed highlight of Splendour 08, PNAU take centre stage, while Bodyrockers founder and now solo superstar Kaz James brings the full band live show to Stereosonic with his current “We Hold On” hit blowing up nationally.

One of the buzz highlights of Ibiza this year, Ireland’s supergroup, The Japanese Popstars play alongside Mixmag magazine’s darlings of Australia, TV Rock featuring Grant Smilie and Ivan Gough. Mowgli brings up the glitch minimal sound while Holland’s latest onelove hit DJ Don Diablo hits the decks nationally with his awesome mix of electro, house and twisted dancefloor movers.

Modular Records’ awesome latest signing Headman returns to Oz to rock the dancefloor with New York super producer and remixer, Tommie Sunshine, Bang Gang’s Ajax and onelove resident and all-round lady-killer Andy Murphy.
