Disney’s Aladdin Jr. is a live stage adaption of the animated classic. The story of Aladdin begins with the Princess of Agrabah, Princess Jasmine, being forced to choose a husband out of three visiting Princes by her father the Sultan. In an attempt to flee the feeling of being “trapped” she disguises herself among her people and runs into Aladdin, a poor street urchin being framed for stealing a loaf of bread. The story of a teenager seeking self-respect is set in and around the city of Agrabah, City of Enchantment, complete with a Palace, Arabian Marketplace, and an authentic flying carpet.
