Originals indie r&b showcase gig, and leader Andrew Chen's 20th Birthday.

The Intentions are a 6-piece indie R&B dance and musical collective with an emphasis on world performance pieces representing various emotive states such as jubilance, insecurity, passion, fear, love. Laptops, samplers, organic dance, motown-influenced songwriting, with a hip hop edge. Having released his debut album "You Just Might" in 2009, The Intentions are producer Andrew Chen's indie R&B troupe, and riding high on a wave of positive reviews, have recently headlined The Zoo, The Globe with a plan to tour the East Coast of Australia. Leader Andrew Chen brings with him a background in Asian music, hip hop sensibility, and tight arrangements guaranteed to keep the crowd at its feet!
