This October, Oscar Theatre Company is bringing the highly anticipated Queensland premiere of Broadway's THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE to the Roundhouse Theatre, Kelvin Grove.

Described by the New York Times as "i-r-r-e-s-i-s-t-i-b-l-e" and "o-u-t-r-a-g-e-o-u-s-l-y funny", SPELLING BEE follows the journey of six quirky champion spellers (and a few unexpected local competitors) as they S-P-E-L-L their way through the Putnam County spelling finals. Following Melbourne Theatre Company's sell-out seasons down south, this Tony-award winning musical will hit the Brisbane stage for the first time with an exceptional cast of Queensland performers.
