Two mid-forties couples had pre-dinner and then post dinner drinks at the trendy Blu Grotto. Nice place. We were charged an additional two drinks pre-dinner and we just got these taken off the bill - no problems. We ate elsewhere and returned for post dinner drinks. One drink was flat but our complaint was refused, then our bill had another two rouge drinks added. We asked the manager was there a problem. He said the till was playing up and he'd raised this to the owner several times. We decided we didn't want to pay for the undrunk flat drink and when we paid the bill this drink short, the manager came over a started swearing at the top of his voice very explicitly. My wife and my friend's wife were scared and quite amazed. We had not provoked this at all, simply raised the issues very calmly. We were told we were F'ing thieves! Quite extraordinary. Something had obviously triggered this guy. He said he was leaving the position, so hopefully the owner will recruit a decent manager to this otherwise nice bar. …

I never miss a chance to visit Liquorish. Awesome tapas and the staff are so professional and friendly. I don't know who owns Liquorish but he must be very proud. The last time I was there was my birthday they made it very special. …
