In 2008, the Irish Club completed a $4m renovation boasting four bars, a Brasserie, Cafe, Gaming Lounge and Sports Bar, all complimented by our magnificent heritage-listed Ballroom.

You don't need to be Irish or even a member to enjoy our Club - visitors are more than welcome!

Established in 1898, The Irish Club has long been Brisbane's authentic home of Irish hospitality offering a range of traditional Irish meals along with modern Australian cuisine. Guinness (of course!) is our most requested beverage but we do offer a fantastic selection of quality tap beers, fine wines and spirits. Come and enjoy the Craic with live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night plus traditional Irish Music sessions every Wednesday from 7pm. If you enjoy a bit of a flutter, look no further than our gaming lounge. With 40 gaming machines and regular promotions, why not try your luck?

We are a trusted venue for special events and can cater for functions of every size, from private business meetings and cocktail parties in the Shamrock or Harp Room, through to large dinners, seminars, conferences or weddings in the Four Provinces Room. And for a truly grand occasion with large numbers, choose our spectacular Tara Ballroom.

Irish Club Membership is just $44.00 per year and you don’t need to be Irish to join - Associate Membership is also available.
