A slither of cheese is not a cheese platter

Dissatisfied Customer
Staff were incompetent - did not know the menu, including fish of the day (it's a seafood restaurant) and did not know the set-menu price. Table was not cleared, tea was served luke-warm, water was not replenished.
$30 for a kids meal that included nuggets and frozen chips and a bowl of ice-cream is not value.
The cheese platter that comprised of one slice of one type of cheese - does not constitute a selection. Would not return.
Dodgy: Atmosphere
Hated the: Value, Food, Wine List, Service
Overall: Hate it!
The view is not worth it.

Mother's Day Lunch. When we booked, the restaurant neglected to tell us that it was a set menu at $60 a head. Our waiter didn't know the price of the set menu, nor what the 'fish of the day' was. He chose to spend his time chatting at the bar, rather than actually waiting on us. Excellent entree of prawns. Unfortunately the mains were a let down: I actually had to spit broccoli out because it was inedible (sodi-bi carb in the water). The meat used in both the lamb and steak dishes was of the very poor quality. The final straw came when the cheese selection plates arrived with ONE sliver of cheese (more cheese was provided upon request). The lukewarm tea and coffee well-matched the total experience. Overall, abysmal service, hit-and-miss food, and low value for money. But the views are great.
