The Cooking School @ Focus by James Restaurant is the perfect opportunity for you to discover the Masterchef laying within you.Knowing how to cook is new cool!

Guys, learn some new skills that you can show off to your mates. Go beyond the burnt snags and charcoal steaks! The BBQ is not just for weekends, learn recipes and dishes you can cook every day.

Girls, not everyone had the chance to be taught by their mum. Learn practical skills that the cookbooks can’t quite teach you. Get together with a few friends and have a unique birthday celebration or hens party!

Healthy eating habits begins at home. Take control of your eating and what you put into your body!

Cooking good quality meals does not need to be expensive, difficult or time consuming. The Cooking School @ Focus by JamesRestaurant has Head Chef Warren Maddox showing you step by step how to create restaurant quality meals. Dishes that will not only wow your guests at your next dinner party but will put money back into your pocket!

Our Cooking Classes aren’t just a talk fest – all classes are fully hands on so prepared to get your hands dirty! Enjoy a glass of wine or beer (it’s the only way to cook!) as the chef guides you through each dish. Once your creation has been completed sit down as a group and enjoy your meals whilst swapping a few of your own “kitchen war” stories.

But wait there’s more! Take home a CD with all therecipes, tips and much more. You will leave fully equipped to recreate the magic at home.

Classes are conducted on Saturdays 11.30am – 2.30pm(Dessert classes are 12.30pm – 3.30pm).

Costs are $125 per person, fully inclusive – you bring nothing. Book 3 classes or more at once for only $99 per class.

Pasta is the staple of every diet. Learn how easy it is to make fresh pasta from scratch. You’ll never go to the store again! Learn some great insider tips from the chef on how to make restaurant quality meals simply and cheaply. On the menu:

• Handmade Linguini with Sauteed Cauliflower, Chilli, Kalamatta Olives and Parsley
• Fresh Pasta Ravioli filled with Roast Pumpkin, Persian Feta, Garlic and Lemon Thyme, with a Sage Butter Sauce\
• Chocolate Filled Hand Made Chocolate Ravioli
