Just want to say what a massive change the Old Belushi's has undertaken. Downstairs is looking absolutely fabulous! Love it!!

We come here quite often for Friday Lunches and it always hits the spot, great value for money with their $6, $8 or $10 menu.
I had the swordfish with was quite yummy, I had to order a side of chips to go with it as I was really hungry. I would suggest the Metro Burger, that is really good.
The Metro has recently undertaken a huge renovation and it looking much more open and its a nice place with a good (noisyish) atmosphere for a Friday lunch. If there is a group of you be sure to fax through your order before 11:30 to secure your table and food (On Fridays espesh)

I must write a quick review of The Pier! Absolutely fabulous! We were there for a small wedding reception in their function room upstairs, beautifully presented, great staff and the whole evening went through without a hitch. What a great venue. And the staff are super friendly.

We came here after a evening in St Kilda and it was very busy and for good reason! We came here with some locals who love this restaurant for the pizzas and the excellent nosh! I chose a calzone from the huge range of choices and my friends had a pizza and a steak. I tried them all and it was excellent quality food and for reasonable prices.
Now I'm back in Brisbane, I think it will be hard to top that Calzone...mmmm

I recently visted Melbourne for a couple of days and a friend and I stopped in for Lunch at this warm and inviting venue.We both ordered a lunch special which was under $10 and the portions where surprisingly big and JUST what I needed(it was raining and cold outside). I got the Bacon and Mushroom carbonara, it was delicious! I absolutely stuffed myself and was extremely satisfied with the excellent service and the friendy staff.
I will be definately passing this onto friends who visit Melbourne

Had such a good night at the new addition to the Brunswick Mall! Excellent service, tasty cocktails! It is surprising how spacious the venue is!

We had an excellent evening at the Spanish Tapas Bar, we were a party of 10 people and shared a hot tapas meat platter and a cold vege platter for starters. We also had some very Garlicy bread to soak up the various sauces, which also hit the spot. We couldn't stop drinking the Sangria like cordial...it was so refreshing. I think we ordered 5 bottles in the end. After the platters we each ordered a tapas. As a massive cheese lover, the Queso Frito (fried cheese) was fresh, hot and melt in your mouth. We sampled just about everything , its great going as a group of friends that are up for experimenting and trying new things.
At the end of the night we only spent $32 each, which was very surpising considering all the food we ordered and how much we drank! I will be back, I would like to be there when they have some flamenco dancing.

I went to Mado on the weekend and sat in true turkish style amoungst all of the beautiful traditional tapestries. You really do feel like you are transported to Turkey. Its very relaxing. We ordered the 3 dips for starters - all were fantastic, but we really enjoyed the roast vegetables dip, delcious. I ordered the spiced lamb mince on the bed of diced turkish bread with a sort of tomatoey spicy sauce and yogurt on the top, it was excellent. My partner really enjoyed the Anotolian Chicken, I managed to sample some as well and I was very impressed.

My partner and I went to Ciao Baby for our Valentines Day and it was simply divine. I enjoyed a lovely pasta while my partner raved on about his delcious eye fillet. We got fantastic little bonuses of oysters for entrees and at the end of the meal some gorgeous strawberries with a creamy chocolate liquor sauce. We felt pampered all evening! We have promised ourselves that we will be back soon to sample the new menu...
