The Show Us Your Shorts student Film festival forms an important part of screening program and events of the Warburton Film Festival in 2009. Offering young film-makers - with stories to tell, comments to make, and worlds to create - the chance to express themselves creatively on the little big screen at the popular Warburton Film Festival.

This year's theme focuses on "My Place. My Family. My Environment" - the interpretation of this theme is up to the film makers. Get creative, shoot, edit, complete and submit your film to Show Us Your Shorts '09. Films should be no more than 10 minutes in length

Show Us Your Shorts is a Student short film competition, open to ALL Australian (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) students currently living and studying in Australia.

Prizes are awarded in the following categories:
- Best Drama
- Best Documentary
- Best Animation

Prizes include summer or winter courses at the Victorian College of the Arts - School of Film and Television.
Cash prizes to winners 18 years and over.
Plus heaps of other encouragement prizes!

Judges decisions are final.
