CC the Cat is quickly gaining attention in her hometown Brisvegas and surrounds as an outstanding funk/soul/reggae vocalist with her astounding vocal range and a jazz scat to kill. Backed by mad-slappin' funkadelic groove-child Tracy Stephens on bass and ex-Londoner beats explosion Guy Anderton on drums, CC the Cat trio are a party-shakin groove machine pumping out everything from deep dark thumping acoustic rock tunes to uplifting reggae anthems and pop-catchy funk/soul journeys. Over the last three years, CC the Cat trio have toured tirelessly from the East Coast to the West of Oz, sneaking in a bar record-breaking five-week residency at the Roebuck Bay Hotel in Broome WA (where the Waifs and Johnny Diesel started off their careers), playing some huge sets at the Island Time Reggae Festival and the Gold Coast's Wonderland Festival in late 2007, and working the East Coast from Melbourne to far North Queensland with barely a week off. CC the Cat release their debut EP "Nicotine" in August before CC heads to NYC/Montreal on an independent tour.
