"Solid performer"

I find the Mayfair Tavern - or "The Mayf" as it is now called - a great place to meet friends and have a laugh. My favourites would have to be the cocktail list, toss-the-boss on Wednesday nights, APL on Saturdays and the big screen for sports. It's never too loud and always pulls a good crowd - but you can still get a beer. The staff are very friendly and address you by name once you've been there a few times. …

"quiet achiever"

I found the Spice to be a sensational place to eat. A friend was down from Launceston and none of my group of 8 had ever eaten at the Spice before - I tell you what, we'll be back. The food was sensational, and only matched by the service. All staff were polite and happy to help. All round a delicious and relaxing meal. Well done. …
