Monsters in my Wardrobe

Written and performed by Mark Pençak. Puppets and props Eliza-Jane Gilchrist.

Mark’s afraid of the dark. One night he sleeps without his light and three monsters emerge from his wardrobe and take away his favourite toys. Mark follows them into strange hidden forests, deep caves and the outer bit of outer space. There he encounters monsters and discovers they aren’t always monstrous.

Monsters in My Wardrobe has performed in Scotland, Ireland, England and schools throughout Australia. It features ‘animated storytelling’ where the narration is energized through puppets, mime, comedy and a very surprising wardrobe. Suitable for children 4+.
