Directed by Western animation emperor Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles), making his live-action feature debut. The cast also includes newbie to the series Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker), who managed to edge out both Tom Hardy (Inception) and Chris Pine (Star Trek) for the role of Brandt.

Reviews:
"The best Mission Impossible of them all, everything about this fourth film in the movie franchise is big with breathtaking, extravagant stunts and a thrilling, large scale plot to match" - Urbancinefile.com.au
"Even those allergic to Cruise would struggle to resist his magnetism grinning one-handed from the highest skyscraper in the world, cool as a cucumber, ripped as celery" - Guardian UK
"Proves that there's still a lot to be said for formulaic action when it's handled with such aplomb. The best in the series thus far" - Dark Horizons
