Bushfire Blues Music Festival

Sunday 8th March saw Young and Jackson host a Bushfire Blues Relief Music Festival. All the big names in the Blues Business were here including: Jimi Hocking, Geoff Achison, Collard Greens and Gravy, Matt Dwyer and the Magnatones, Jeannie Lushese and the Bad Blues Boys, Louis King and the Liars Club, and The Holiday Adventure. All musicians donated their performances on the day, and entry was charged. The staff at Y&J's also threw a Charity Auction to raise some more money, as well as donating sales of Beer on the day. A whopping total of $4764.10 was raised on the day, as well as a collection of donations over the month raised an extra $5895.75, bringing the GRAND TOTAL RAISED FOR BUSHFIRE APPEAL $10,659.85 Well done and thankyou to all involved... It was a terrific day.
