Western Australia’s premiere theme park, Adventure World, opens its doors for the 29th consecutive season on 29th September 2011. After a winter of major investment, Adventure World will open the season with the launch of the biggest aqua play attraction in Australia. The attraction has over 100 features of fully immersive and interactive action for the whole family. This 12,000 cubic meter and 2000 litre, tropical themed colossus, is named “Kahuna Falls” after the mighty Kahuna Falls waterfall on Big Island, Hawaii. Such a massive addition to Adventure World has given rise to a newly renovated and tropical themed café, which now includes a Dominos Pizza outlet, the first onsite concession store for the park. “We are delighted to bring a new attraction to Western Australia’s visitors and local community for the third year running” said Adventure World General Manager, Mark Shaw, “Kahuna Falls represents the largest single investment in a new attraction Adventure World has ever made. Now with twenty-two water slides, one of the largest freeform pools in the country, plus a dedicated splash zone for the little ones, we are definitely the place to stay cool this summer!” The Aussie Wildlife Experience is now home to some new arrivals including alpacas, and the koala residents and their children are standing by for your photo shoot!
