character and warmth @ Astor Private Hotel
An old style hotel with a great hostess in the form of Tildy, who is extremely helpful and at all times charming.
Comfortable rooms, some with en-suite (those without have a basin, and the clean bathrooms are nearby in the corridor) a good continental breakfast, nice guest lounge, a lift for heavy luggage and a "can't be beaten" location just a stone's throw from Salamanca Market as well as the city itself. Off-street parking is available behind the motel.
We were made to feel very welcome and would recommend this place to groups, couples and singles for both short and long stays.
