The Carnivale will again be ‘A Festival of Colour’ centred around body art in its many and varied forms. For members of the public, it’s nothing short of phenomenal to watch the human canvases take shape during the competitions. There'll be a feast of other entertainment including a gala launch and Masked Gallery Art Walk, competitions and exhibitions in pavement art, wearable art, car body art, photography, and visual art (Art of the Body), as well displays of Indigenous body painting. Music will form a major part of the 2010 event, as we partner with EUMUNDI LIVE Music Festival. This will see two stages featuring live bands all weekend. Stay tuned for further announcements re the exciting line-up... There'll also be world-class street performers, a Saturday evening sunset street party, and a whole lot more. Put the date in your diary ... it's sure to be a colourful event!
