Noosa Heads Surf Club is pleased to present the first ‘all ages’ King and Queen of the Song. The coast’s long established original song comp welcomes performing songwriters of all ages (youth to age 110), all styles and levels of experience. Come out to showcase 1-2 original songs for an enthusiastic, respectful, live-music loving audience. $100 + ‘peoples prize’ is won every Monday night, and the 1st and 2nd place winners each week secure a spot in the Final on April 12th, where over $2000 cash/prizes will be won. All performers are welcome to perform every week — simply show up on the night and sign-up to play. The opening round demonstrated the magical intimacy of a venue with good sound and a listening audience...and let’s not forget the awe-inspiring local talent! For people who enjoy the high quality songwriters at Peregian Originals, this grass roots original music event is a must.
