On the last Sunday* of every month Gunalda Hotel busts the quiet, rural setting wide open with an ear shattering, Open Music Jam Session! The festivities crack on at around 3pm through to late, with live music galore! Everyone is welcome to come along; either as a performer or spectator. Beginners are given support and encouragement from professional musicians who drop into the hotel for a jam. Ray Gage runs the event and was the winner of the Music in Communities 'Local Hero' award in 2010. Free camping is available on the premises for those wanting to have a few drinks.
