The Wild Party is a funny, sexy, cynical Jazz poem written at the height of the roaring 20's and subsequently banned by the Chicago police for its decadent and lurid nature. This hard boiled text is brought to life as a jazz cabaret event by the Vashti Hughes Ensemble - 4 actors and a jazz band on a wild ride back and sideways to the speakeasies of the 20's.
