EXPLOSION!

My works are largely light-hearted autobiographical reactions to my life and world experiences. They are not literal descriptions of particular places or events, however, but rather they are streams of consciousness that have manifest themselves into my dreams and fantasies that I have splashed, dribbled, poured and scumbled onto canvas. In short, they are the end products of many sublime spiritual encounters.

Although I have been inspired by, and have referenced many artists, my overriding inspiration has been the artworks and art practices of my indigenous brothers and sisters, who through their dreaming express a wholeness and oneness towards our wonderful land.

I , too, have been deeply touched by this raw vibrance, and my abstract expressionistic works are meant to reflect the wonderment and joie de vivre of my encounters in a world that is full of colour, exuberance and vitality that may be evident in the colours, shapes lines textures and symbols that I have explored on paper and canvas.

These works are a visual diary and celebration of my life’s journey
