A successful play on Broadway in 1952, this masterful and gripping suspense thriller has many unexpected twists and turns, keeping the audience ever alert as they try to piece together all the clues. A lesson in how to plan the perfect murder, but as in real life things never turn out as planned.
A nostalgic treat and an entertaining cliffhanger, it became a film classic directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
