Recorded in the snow-covered mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, All Through Winter is an album which immediately announced itself as one of 2011's most impressive local offerings. Georgia Fair found a firm friend in All Through Winter producer Bill Reynolds - bassist with acclaimed American outfit Band of Horses. For Reynolds, the appeal of working with the talented newcomers was impossible to resist. "It's once in a blue moon that I come across a group with such great harmonies and great songs," he attests. "When my manager sent me the demos for the LP I knew I had to find a way to work with them." The band have been busy since the release of the album, sharing stages with the likes of Boy & Bear, Busby Marou, The Panics and very shortly the aforementioned Lisa Mitchell. They are now set to play two very special shows to celebrate the launch of the new single Blind, in Sydney on Friday 6th July at the Standard, and in Melbourne on Thursday 12th July at The Toff. Don't miss your chance to catch what will surely be two fantastic shows by an Australian band who are definitely on the rise.
