Wayne is a 3-time Emmy award winner and 7-time nominee. He won a Prime Time Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical or Comedy Series for his work on Whose Line Is It Anyway? with Drew Carey, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie, He is the only person to win the award for a television series as opposed to a special since Dana Carvey in 1993. The Wayne Brady daytime talk show lasted two seasons and earned 3 Daytime Emmy Awards - two of which went to Brady for Outstanding Talk show Host.

Brady hails from Orlando, Florida, where he started in entertainment at the age of 16. His personal philosophy of "No matter what it is, I am going to work in this field" meant he steered clear of the traditional "waiting on tables" as an option for a struggling performer. This included a stint as "Tigger" at Walt Disney world where he simultaneously entertained & frightened small children. Much has happened since then!

Multi-talented Wayne has an extraordinary history in entertainment. Brady guest starred on the Drew Carey Show in 1999 and 2000. In 2004 Brady joined the long running Broadway revival of Chicago playing the role of Lawyer Billy Flynn. He also briefly appeared in the final episode of the 2004 series of the comedy RENO 911! He's soon to release his debut album "A Long time Coming" and will voice a character in the upcoming animated feature "Foodfight!" for Lion's Gate films. He has guest starred on "The Dave Chappelle Show" twice, "30 Rock", "Dirt", "How I Met Your Mother", "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Stargate SG-1". His feature film CV includes the independent feature "The List" with Sydney Tamiia Poitier and Illeana Douglas and a feature role in Fox Searchlight's Roll Bounce. Wayne currently hosts the singing game show "Don't forget the Lyrics!" on Fox and performing his show "Wayne Brady: Making S%!t Up" at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas four nights a week.
