Experience ‘No Limits’ at the Sydney Uni Live! Open Day The University of Sydney is opening its doors to give potential students the opportunity to discover their limitless study options and to experience campus life for a day. To be held on Saturday 30 August, students will have the chance to take part in more than 150 lectures and tours, a variety of demonstrations, exhibitions and free entertainment. More than 1000 academics, general staff and student volunteers will be on hand to discuss the 1000 plus internationally recognised degree options on offer. Sydney Uni’s huge array of extra curricular activities will also be on show for all to experience - from clubs and societies to sports and accommodation facilities. Parents of year 11 and 12 students are invited to attend a special information session. The Sydney Uni Live! Parent Seminar will take a closer look at the wide range of course options available, scholarships, student support services and discuss how parents can support their children in the transition from school to university. Participants can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment including a varsity debate chaired by television and radio presenter Adam Spencer, sports events, science experiments and live music. Sydney Uni Live! is making it easy for everyone to join them. Free transport will operate from Central Railway to the university and shuttle buses will run between the five participating campuses, including the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Sydney College of the Arts.
