RAW Comedy Come along and support the best up-and-coming comedians in the Illawarra as they take part in Australia's biggest and most prestigious open mic comedy competition. Or get up and give it a try yourself! The Melbourne International Comedy Festival has been producing RAW Comedy since 1996, and previous winners and finalists include Chris Lilley, Josh Thomas, Hannah Gadsby, Peter Helliar, Claire Hooper, Michael Workman, Mike McLeigh (Keating! The Musical) and Tim Minchin. Stevie - The Life and Music of Stevie Wright and the Easybeats Scott McRae stars in this first ever production depicting the life and music of Stevie Wright and the Easybeats. This upbeat LIVE rockumentary takes the audience on a journey from the beat of the '60s to the hard and heady days of the '70s and '80s. Australian music history was made with hits such as Friday on My Mind, She's so Fine, Evie Parts 1, 2 & 3, Heaven and Hell, Black Eyed Bruiser plus many more. Big screen interviews have been specifically filmed for the production, with people like Angry Anderson, Jon English, Snowy Fleet, Kevin Borich and a cast of others who have a story to share.
