A passionate political thriller, CORIOLANUS is an adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy. Set in modern Rome, it’s the story of a banished hero who allies with a sworn enemy to take his revenge on the city. It marks Fiennes's directorial debut, and he has assembled a powerhouse of actors including Vanessa Redgrave, Gerard Butler, Jessica Chastain, Brian Cox and James Nesbitt. Fiennes plays the lead role of Coriolanus, a revered Roman General.

Redgrave won “Best Supporting Actress” at British Independent Film Awards last month for CORIOLANUS - and it has screened at Toronto, Berlin & London Film Festivals.
